God's Servant

Pastor Kenneth Coleman is the youngest son born to Joseph and Betty
J. Coleman.  He is the founding pastor of the City of Refuge Pentecostal
Church located at 200 Dellwood Avenue in Lockport, Illinois.

Pastor Coleman experienced the new birth at the age of 15.  Two years
later he accepted the call to preach the Gospel.  Since that time he has
served in many different capacities including altar worker, choir director,
usher, youth leader, treasurer and assistant pastor.  Pastor Coleman
has a deep love for the Word of God and is always eager to share the
Good News to those who cross his path.

After serving as assistant pastor for seven years, he and his wife Marie
stepped out by faith and founded the City Of Refuge Pentecostal
Church on February 2, 2002.  The first two gatherings were held in their
home around the dinning room table, they later held services at a hotel
and in two short months they were blessed with the present church
building.  God has shown His great favour in the life of Pastor Kenneth
Coleman.

Pastor Coleman is directly involved in the community, he has coached
basketball at local schools and provided a basketball camp in the
summer of 2009 for the Fairview Community.  He along with his church
has held many events since its conception that has distributed clothing
and food to those who need assistance.

Pastor Coleman has had the wonderful opportunity to teach and preach
God's uncompromising Word in many diverse denominational
churches.  He has had the pleasure to conduct seminars geared for
men, women, youth and couples.  Many have been healed, delivered
and set free under this dynamic ministry.
